Consent 101

Consent means 'agreeing freely'. People show they freely agree by actively and eagerly taking partmeans PAYING ATTENTION to the other person: are they happy and keen? You can't just assume you've got consent. If you're not sure you have it, you don't. Wearing someone down until they agree is not consent Persuading someone less powerful is not consent It's not just about penis-in-vagina sex. You need consent for any sexual activity like kissing, touching or oral sex. The agreement only counts one time for one activity. If they are too drunk or high to know what they're doing, they can't give consent. Sex without consent is RAPE.
